Matthew’s spark
Camping was easy.
Camping well was the puzzle.
Matthew has always loved camping and the outdoors—the quiet mornings, the long roads, and that feeling when the map stops being very specific.
But freedom usually came with a tradeoff. Sleeping comfortably meant a complicated build. Cooking meant unpacking half the van. Cleaning meant hunting for water. And keeping food cold or devices charged put a timer on every trip.
He wanted the power to go anywhere while still being able to cook, sleep, and clean. Not a permanent conversion. Not something that took over the family vehicle. One modular system that could be ready for adventure and then make room for everyday life again.

Coco needed

Matthew’s dog Coco wasn’t an afterthought—Coco was part of the brief. The space below the sleeper stays open for a comfortable dog den or all the gear that seems to multiply on the road.

Maya’s north star

Maya’s love for exploration gave the idea its direction. For her, the best trip leaves room for a turn you didn’t plan, a trail you just noticed, or one more sunrise before heading back.
Together, Matthew and Maya shaped LifeBoxes around possibility: simple enough to use on a whim, capable enough to carry a real adventure, and flexible enough to become whatever the next weekend needs.
